Who we are

Thakira is operated by Siraj projects trading LLC, Oman (“we”). Contact: info@thakira.app.

What we keep

• Your WhatsApp phone number and chosen language.
• The name (or label) and expiry date of each document or reminder you add, and your reminder settings.
• Your plan, and a record of the messages exchanged so we can run and support the service.

What we do not keep

• Photos or other media. A photo you send is read in memory and discarded.
• ID numbers. Please don’t send them. If one arrives in a message, we don’t save or repeat it.
• One-time codes in our logs, and message content in our technical logs.

Why we use it

To send you reminders, answer your questions, show renewal guidance, keep the service secure, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who helps us run it

We use service providers to operate Thakira: Meta (WhatsApp) to send and receive messages, Supabase to store data, Anthropic to understand your messages and read photos you send, and Cloudflare to host this website. They process data only to provide those services. Our service providers may process data outside Oman.

This website

This website uses no cookies and no analytics. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard technical logs of visits (such as IP address and pages requested) to keep the site secure. The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open a page.

Staff access

Authorised staff can read conversations to support you, and can take over a chat. Authorised staff can see your full phone number. Staff actions are recorded.

Your choices

• Send STOP at any time to end all messages.
• After STOP, send START to receive messages again. Your custom reminders continue from the next one; any that fell due while messages were stopped are not sent.
• Send “delete my data” and confirm, and we erase the information we hold about you. We keep only minimal technical records for a short period, and minimal audit records, with no message content.
• Ask us for a copy of your information or a correction at info@thakira.app.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you use Thakira. When you ask us to delete it, we erase it. [To be confirmed before launch: retention period for message records.]
